Ladies new season
« on: August 16, 2020, 05:43:17 PM »
The ladies have just had their first pre season match at Cubbington, home of Haddenham. New management team of player Gemma and Clare taking over from Beth.
An improving performance as the game progressed. The score line looked poor but that was not the point of the game. Get minutes in, test fitness, refresh defence and attacking options.
On to next week v Penn & Tyler

Second game of pre season at Penn & Tyler. An overall improved performance with several players in new positions. Lots of good game time and information for the management duo. Next game is at Fairford Leys at 6.30 next Thursday. This game is NOT behind closed doors.

Sunday saw the opening league fixture for the ladies at Kenworth to play E B Lions. The starting 11 include new recruits Kiri Chapman and Naomi Knight. First goal was on 7 mins from Naomi K. For the rest of the half Aylesbury had 80% of the pressure and 2 more goals were scored By Justin R and Elizabeth J.
The second half was more of the same with 4 goals in the last 15 minutes. scorers Kiri C, Sarah G Kate T and a second for Kiri.
Overall the team has improved since the last pre season game and goal scoring should not be an issue with depth of talent   in many positions.
Next game for the team is the local derby against Haddenham on Sunday 20th Sept. ground Bernard Close, Cuddington HP18 0AJ. 2pm ko  Come and show your support.
