That was a good session tonight. The "One Club United" was great to see and the recognistion that we must grow the club with all our resources.
In regard to communications from the board need to increase. The once a year statement by Graham is the reference currently. 21 CD have increased the budget to the club recently but the limiting factor is income from a membership of about 70.
It was very encouraging to hear of the 8 year plan
I would hope this forum could be repeated at least to 6 times a year.

Aylesbury United Discussion / Re: Ladies team home match this Sunday
« on: February 27, 2022, 07:04:06 PM »
This Sunday 27th Feb. the Ladies drew at home to M K city women 1 - 1
Jenny Lambie scoring our goal in the 55th minute slotting home from 10 yards. This was a much improved performance from the previous match against M K city. The grit and determination was much in evidence.
This was the last home game of the season for the ladies.

The Aylesbury United CLUB includes teams male and female with only one team not able to play in Aylesbury. Aylesbury is a growing town where sports grounds will have to be made available by the housing contractors. I have seen these is current developments. HS2 has caused a golf club to close down because the land was needed. Aylesbury town council are working hard to increase the provision for sport.
The senior mens team should continue at its current level and budgets. When the time comes for the mens senior team can play in Aylesbury again the whole club will welcome it.

The Ladies beat Banbury Town on Sunday 7-0. They are  in 6th place in the league of the 9 teams
The next match  they are away to Easington sports followed by a home match against Milton Keynes City on Sun 27th Feb. This is the final match of the season.
The venue will advised because of doubts with the pitches at Fairford Leys

Aylesbury United Discussion / Re: Max Hercules joins Banbury United
« on: February 11, 2022, 11:12:03 AM »
Looking at the comments made by the Banbury manager "he is a great fit for the club", I take as he is building for next season or needs a wide forward as a replacement / additional option off the bench.
I hope for Max's career he is a replacement for a Banbury player recently injured or returned from a loan period.
In regard to our own squad it was good to see Ollie Hogg, Ben Seaton and Jamie Rudd getting some playing time.
I would hope this week, with no mid week match, Ben has had  productive training session/s
