Gutted. Hope Ben's got a trick up his sleeve as he's a big loss. Good move up for him though.

OK this isn't an ex duck but it's interesting watching Portsmouth v Sunderland and seeing Ollie Hawkins up front for Pompey.  I've been reading the match reports from the 4 games he played against us.  His first was for Hillingdon Borough (came on as a HT sub, marked by Fritzy!) in front of 58 people, a bit different from the 20k he's in front of tonight!

Agree it has been interesting seeing his rise. I remember him being a gangly and not particularly great striker against us, so a little surprised to see how well he's done!

I see Dave Anderson - Bob Dowie's assistant manager for us - won the FA Vase today as Chertsey Town manager, then announced his retirement after the game.

The match report of Aylesbury Dynamos game v Sutton said they had 4 under 18 starting , Ty Deacon and Bruno  played with Harry Scott and Jordan Jenkins on the bench. They look to me to be saving up for Monday.
Alex K would be very welcome on Monday . Winslow have nothing to play for but have been short of players in recent matches

Winslow's game is cancelled on Monday as they can't get a side out apparently! So he'd be free...

Nice to see Max back in the team and having such an impact - his 100th game in senior football at the age of just 19 is quite an achievement. And 8 goals for us now. Hopefully plenty more to come.

Not gonna lie I thought we were dead and buried at 2-0 down today, very impressed that we came back and were well worthy winners after an excellent second half.

Adcock and Casey must have improved.

Another 2 in the 'much better everywhere else' category. Both were pretty much ever present for Potters Bar and Casey had a good scoring record there, as he does so far at Chesham I think.

I see North Leigh lost 5-2 to Corby and are now six points adrift at the bottom. If ever there were a team that wished they could play us every week... ::)

3 goals in 2 games for Tyriq Hunte, another of the 'ones who got away'!

Good point for us today though, well done all.

Just seen that Jamie Keen's 'loan' spell at V.D. is over and he's been re-registered with us.

Striker Tyriq Hunte has - having been regularly amongst the goals for Edgware Town this season - has joined North Leigh today.

Now... who are North Leigh playing next?? 🤔

thanks for starting this thread Luke - i'd suggested something like this a few weeks ago; an ongoing thread where little bits of info on ex ducks can be posted.
Taylor Collins and Kevin Mealor currently turning out for Aston Clinton

Yeah it's always an interesting topic!

From casting my eye around the leagues this week, I see Chid Onokwai has joined Hayes & Yeading United. He is 4th in the this season's Bostik League South Central goalscorers with 17 goals for Marlow and FC Romania.

Elsewhere Lewis Putman - having failed to really settle anywhere since Slough Town - is back scoring goals for Oxhey Jets. Always thought it was only a matter of time before he returned there.

If only we needed a striker, eh?

Ben said on Twitter it was our best football of the season, and I wouldn't disagree with that. Especially impressive given our 'weakened' lineup.

Absolute compliment that Maidenhead had to bring on 2 further first team regulars, to add to the 5 or 6 that started the game, at half time before they could get anything out of the match.

We deserved at least a shot at the penalty shootout, but that's the way it goes. At the end of the day they are 3 leagues higher than us, but we did really well.

Have to take it forwards to our league matches now.

Like HTH I thought Ball was our man of the match. Think he's been absolutely outstanding every week. Reminds me a lot of Jack Wood in his early days at the club.

Only seen him once but echo these sentiments.

(And looking forward to these opinions being relayed back to Twitter by our watchers, or is it only the negative that gets posted there?)
