Aylesbury United Discussion / Re: This season how will it end

I agree, they have to make a decision on whatís actually happened rather than what might have happened in March and April.

Promote Halesowen and only have one down from Step 3. Wantage should be relegated and replaced with the best PPG from one of the Step 5 leagues. Postpone any other re-jigs until next Summer.

Seen a spreadsheet that suggests if they apply PPG Halesowen will win the league.

Chesham have announced they are starting re-seeding work on the pitch so they aren't expecting a re-start before August.

There's no fair way of doing it so I'd tentatively go for PPG and either promote the top three or play the play offs in August with strict rules that only players registered as at the close of play can play. Clubs unable to field a team as a result would have to, sadly, forfeit their place in the play offs.

Can only remember Paul Cobb's dad getting a bit fighty back in the day, but that was with Ducks fans and not his own team. 'Are you is dad or something ?', 'I am actually !' ;D

One of the finest moments in the history of the Chicken Run!

A big few weeks coming up and as such we need every player in the squad to want to be here not wishing they were somewhere else.

On the bench for Dynamos tonight. Some agents are obviously better than others.

Yes, need to stock up on some points during the rest of February and March as April looks like being a toughie.

Ben Stevens back playing for Dynamos. Is he the modern day Dabba Davies?! If in doubt get the bloke who you know will give a stuff and battle to the very end out of retirement!

Must be very hard for an agent to make decent money representing players at this level. Itís going to take a lot of 10% of £30 quid a weeks to afford even a trolley full of shopping!

Where has Ken gone? I agree it was always going to be hard to keep him given his form this season. In some ways itís good the speculation is over so everyone can now get on with the rest of the season.

I agree, as nice a facility as the ASM is the main stadium is a little too open at the moment.

Good to see Chesham showing ambition as well as whilst it is a traditional non league venue the Meadow is showing its age now.

Hopefully weíll have our own new facilities to get excited about soon!

Great news, a talented player who deserves the opportunity. I'm sure he'll have some interesting times working under Mr Westley!
