I think we should stick with the appearances/goal scorers.  The League table may be expunged for the purposes of deciding the final league table, but the games still took place.  Besides, who's going to volunteer to tell Greg he hasn't made it to 500 appearances? ;D

It's just a shame that such a good season ended this way with so much to play for, so many clubs will be wondering what might have been.

I guess plans for the end of season presentation and the awards that go with it will have to wait until the situation improves, but I know 21CD will be thinking about what to do.  I see no reason why awards shouldn't be handed out, it's just a case of when.

I'm surprised Chesham have taken that decision.  I hope they don't end up with egg on their face if we need to.play games in May.

A calculated gamble, but I think they will be alright.  I doubt the season will be completed, with a decision soon I suspect.  How they work out who starts where next season is anyone's guess.  More restructuring due also, to add another complication to the pot!

Thanks Ian . It's just my opinion , but if we're going to achieve anything this season we need him to be playing .

Fear not, we have a striker in the house.  Wait until you see Juwon on Wednesday.

He wasn't available to play!  Nothing more, nothing less.  I expect we will see him on Wednesday.

Ty was "unavailable".

Certainly a strange incident at the end of the match, no one knew who the gent involved was until later on.  For a father of a player on the winning team to react like that was a new one on me!

I was counting the golden opportunities we missed that we should have scored from, it got past the fingers of one hand.  On a truer surface, I think we could well have done to Kidlington what we did to Coleshill 2 weeks ago.

The ref did reflect on his decision not to award a red card at the end of the match and admitted in hindsight it could and should have seen their sub walking off early.  As I said to him, at least it didn't impact the result.

Good to see Hoggy back and playing at his tigerish best, let's hope the injury concern are beyond him now.

One thing I do know, any of our young players should trust Ben to look after them.  It is his business outside of the club and ( I don't know, but I'm guessing) he feels a little disappointed with the agents showing up to "represent" our youngsters.  Look at how he has handled the likes of Harry Jones, Ben Seaton, Archie Davis.  Do you think Max would have returned to the club if he didn't trust Ben to look after him?

The opportunities will come if a player is good enough and this club would never stand in their way, Jamie Jellis is a great example.

Ditch the agents lads, let the club look after you!

Personally I really don't see the need.  Agents are really only interested in the money that a prospect may bring them in the future.  They speculate by signing lots of talented youngsters, accept there is nothing to be made in the short term, hoping one or  two may turn out to go on to the professional game, where there are riches to reap.

At this level, if a player wants support they should look to their parents, who will have their interests closer to their hearts.

Case in point, that number 6 was making his debut today but has only ever really been a Spartan League player for most of his career. I guess it showed?
To be fair, I thought he was their best defender.  He made a superb last ditch tackle (admittedly after he made a mistake!) to deny Ty a second straight after we scored our first goal.

Rusty.

He will come back to the form we saw before his absence.  Remember he hasn't played for 3 weeks.

Concussion protocols ruled him out, hopefully back next week.

Speculate to accumulate Lee.  They only need to unearth one or two diamonds, then they are in the money.

Nowhere yet, but it's no secret that his agent has been trying to get him moves to higher ranked clubs.

One question:  Why on earth are agents getting involved at this level of football?  Absolutely astounding to me.
